Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) — Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO)

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) invites applications for the senior position of Chief Information Technology Officer (CITO) to lead digital transformation, information technology strategy and operations across FESCO’s service area.

Key responsibilities (selected):

• Develop and implement IT strategy, IT policy, protocols and standards aligned with FESCO business needs.
• Ensure compliance with IT strategy and processes; oversee contracts, vendors and service providers.
• Prepare and manage IT budgets, corporate planning exercises and monitor effectiveness of IT initiatives.
• Manage and lead IT personnel; oversee all affairs of the IT department and coordinate with other departments to deliver IT services.
• Maintain relationships with key IT stakeholders in the electricity sector and keep track of latest IT developments to improve FESCO performance.

Qualification & Experience (summary):

• Minimum: 16-years Bachelor Degree (Honours) in Computing / Data Analytics / Telecom / MIS / AI / Robotics / Cyber Security / Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering OR related field; OR Master’s (MS/MSc/PhD) in Computer Science/IT or related field from an HEC-recognized local or foreign university.
• Additional desirable qualifications: M/Sc, PhD, or foreign degree in IT/AI/Robotics/Cyber Security or related field.
• Minimum 15 years post-qualification professional experience with at least 3 years in a senior management leadership role in public or private sector; strong experience in designing and executing IT governance, large-scale IT change, and managing geographically dispersed teams is required.
• Strong technical, stakeholder engagement, contract/vendor management, and communication skills.
