Punjab Highway Department, Road Construction Division Rawalpindi invites e-tenders from registered engineering firms/contractors through the Punjab e-Procurement System for multiple road reconstruction, improvement and rehabilitation schemes in Rawalpindi District.
Key instructions: Bids must be submitted online via the Punjab e-Procurement Portal. Bid security equal to 5% of the estimated cost to be submitted through digital online payment. Lowest evaluated bidder shall submit a Performance Guarantee of 10% of his contract amount within 15 days of issuance of the letter of acceptance. Performance Guarantee in the form of CDR, Bank Draft, Cashier Cheque, Pay Order or Bank Guarantee is mandatory. No manual/physical bid documents, guarantees or banking instruments will be accepted. Joint ventures are not permitted. Contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in the relevant category and registered on the Punjab PPRA website.
All bids will be opened as per schedule. Recovery against credit of old material will be adjusted manually and bids will be evaluated accordingly. Further details, bidding forms and e-procurement instructions are available on the Punjab e-Procurement Portal.
