| Minimum Education / Professional Qualification | Bachelor's degree from a recognized local or international university/college in Business Administration / Finance / Economics / Management or related discipline. Candidates with certifications or discipline/credentials in Development Finance, Inclusive Finance, Sustainable Finance, SME / Agricultural Finance, or related fields preferred. |
| Experience | Minimum 15 years of work experience, including at least 12 years in banking/financial sector. Must have either: (a) minimum 8 years as Head of SME and/or Agri and/or Commercial business; or (b) minimum 5 years as Head of Retail Banking. Proven experience managing diversified banking portfolios (SME, agriculture, commercial lending), multi-divisional operations, engagement with senior management and boards, and delivering sustainability/green finance and financial inclusion initiatives. |
| Key Responsibilities | Lead Inclusive Development Group & divisions; develop and implement strategies for inclusive, sustainable and green finance; support Bank's Green Banking, ESG and Sustainable Finance strategy; promote renewable energy, climate-smart agriculture and financial inclusion initiatives; oversee performance, budgets and governance of IDG divisions; represent NBP on boards/committees and with regulators, donors and partners; support product development, credit approval frameworks and expansion of Bank's financial inclusion footprint. |
