Key responsibilities include providing overall leadership, supervision and strategic direction to the Secretariat; leading coordination with Chinese counterparts and facilitating implementation of CPEC initiatives and projects; supporting line ministries and relevant institutions across the CPEC project lifecycle; overseeing stakeholder coordination, project-related risks and senior-level engagement with public and private sector institutions; and supporting implementation of CPEC priorities in line with CPEC Long Term Plan and Joint Cooperation Committee decisions.
