Project Director (PPS-12) — CPEC Secretariat (1 Post)

Issuer: CPEC Secretariat (Powering CPEC 2.0). The Secretariat invites applications for the position of Project Director (PPS-12) to provide overall leadership, supervision and strategic direction to the Secretariat and to lead coordination with Chinese counterparts for effective implementation of CPEC initiatives and projects.

Key responsibilities: Provide overall leadership and strategic direction to the Secretariat; lead coordination with Chinese counterparts; facilitate effective implementation of CPEC initiatives and projects; support line ministries and institutions throughout the project lifecycle; oversee stakeholder coordination, project-related risks and senior-level engagement; support implementation of CPEC priorities in line with the CPEC Long Term Plan and decisions of the Joint Cooperation Committee.

Qualification: Postgraduate qualification in Administration, Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 15 years of progressive and verifiable senior management experience in government or the private sector. Candidates with knowledge of the Chinese economy and language are particularly encouraged to apply.
