Issuer: Higher Education Commission (HEC), Pakistan. This corrigendum amends the original HEC advertisement for the National Research Programme for Universities (NRPU) — Call for Research Proposals (2026–27) published on 2026-09-06.

Key amendments:

1. Application Fee Exemption: The requirement to pay an application fee of Rs. 5,000/- via the 1-LINK/i-Bill service using mobile or internet banking is hereby exempted. No application fee will be charged from applicants submitting research proposals under the current NRPU call.

2. Relaxation for Delayed/Unsettled NRPU Cases: The previous condition disqualifying universities with more than five (05) delayed/unsettled NRPU cases has been relaxed/exempted. All universities are now eligible to submit research proposals under the current NRPU call, subject to fulfillment of other eligibility criteria and requirements in the original advertisement.

Other terms and conditions, eligibility criteria, and requirements of the original NRPU advertisement remain unchanged. This corrigendum is an integral part of the original NRPU advertisement.
