WAPDA Hiring Director General (Medical Services) – Lahore (BPS-20)

Pakistan Water & Power Development Authority (WAPDA) invites applications for the post of Director General (Medical Services) on contract basis to oversee, manage and lead medical, clinical and administrative operations of WAPDA hospitals and dispensaries across the country.

Minimum Qualification & Experience: MBBS or equivalent qualification recognized by Pakistan Medical & Dental Council. Minimum 20 years of service in Public, Private or Military Hospital/Institution including at least 5 years of medical administration experience. Candidates with 3+ years as MS/DMS in Public/Private/Military Hospitals will be preferred.

Key Competencies: Ability to lead nationwide medical services and set long-term health policies; strong command over hospital operations, clinical governance and quality standards; skills in budgeting, procurement and efficient allocation of medical resources; familiarity with Pakistan Medical Commission, Drug Regulatory Authority and healthcare licensing; capability to monitor medical setup, performance management and capacity building; emergency/outbreak response and health risk management; ability to liaise with client formations and provide inputs for productive relationships.

Age Limit: Maximum 62 years.

Tenure & Pay: Initial appointment for 03 years on lumpsum basis with 06 months probation (extendable). Lumpsum package: Rs. 525,000 per month (inclusive of all perks, privileges and facilities).
