The Directorate of Higher Education, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued an absence notice to Ms. Shafqat Ara, Associate Professor (Urdu, BPS-19) at Govt. Post Graduate College for Women, Mardan. She had applied for medical leave for the periods of 34 days w.e.f. 08-09-2025 to 11-10-2025 and 66 days w.e.f. 12-10-2025 to 16-10-2025.
After expiry of the medical leave she did not resume duty. Two absence notices were served by the college principal dated 24-01-2026 and 14-02-2026, and the Directorate served registered notices dated 28-04-2026 and 01-06-2026. You are directed to report for duties within 15 days of this notice and explain your absence, failing which ex-parte action including removal/dismissal from service will be taken.
