USAT 2026 — Undergraduate Studies Admission Test by HEC / Education Testing Council

Issuer: Higher Education Commission (HEC) - Education Testing Council (ETC). Purpose: USAT (Undergraduate Studies Admission Test) for students seeking admission to undergraduate programmes in Pakistani universities and for eligibility for one-year HEC undergraduate scholarships.

Who can apply: Students who have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSSC) or equivalent (12 years) or who have appeared in the final HSSC/equivalent examinations and are awaiting results.

Test schedule & registration: Registration portal accessible from 2026-09-06 to 2026-10-02. The test date shown is Sunday, 2026-10-25. Candidates should consult the ETC website for full test calendar and any updates.

How to apply: Register online via the ETC/HEC portals (ETC website: http://etc.hec.gov.pk). Upload CNIC or B-Form (for candidates under 18), submit application details, and complete fee payment via 1Link/1Bill invoice payment services using the generated consumer number. After payment, verify online payment on the ETC dashboard. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Roll Number Slips will be available for download from the ETC website and sent to the registered email address about one week before the test.

Important notes: Candidates will not be allowed to sit in the test if there is any discrepancy between CNIC and application data. Applicants must provide valid contact/mobile numbers for Roll Number Slip delivery. USAT is valid for one year for award of HEC undergraduate scholarships.
