Punjab Highways Department Tender - 17 Road Rehabilitation & Improvement Packages in Faisalabad (Closing 2026-10-05)

Issuer: Executive Engineer, Highway Division, Faisalabad (Superintending Engineer, Highway Circle No. II, Faisalabad)

Purpose: Inviting tenders from registered Engineering Firms/Contractors for 17 separate road rehabilitation, reconstruction, widening and improvement packages under the Own Source Receipts Schemes. Works are located within Faisalabad District. Interested firms must be registered on the Punjab e-Procurement (PPRA) portal and hold a valid PEC license for the financial year 2026-27 where applicable.

Key submission instructions & eligibility:

• Submission and opening date/time for all packages: 2026-10-05 at 13:00 hours (01:00 PM).
• All bids must be submitted online through the Punjab e-Procurement System (ep.punjab.gov.pk). No physical bids or physical bid securities (CDR, Pay Order, Draft, Cashier Cheque etc.) will be accepted.
• Bid Security: As per PPRA rules, 5% of the estimated cost to be submitted via Digital Online Payment through the e-Procurement system.
• Performance Guarantee: Successful bidder shall furnish Performance Security/Guarantee equal to 10% of contract amount within 15 days of receipt of award via digital online payment through the e-Procurement system.
• Contractors/firms registered with the Punjab PPRAs website (www.ep.punjab.gov.pk) may participate. Information on registration and procedures is available on the portal.
• Rates are to be quoted on item-rate basis against each item as well as total amount against each item and grand total of all items in the financial proposal. The lowest evaluated bidder will be determined per tender rules.
• Tender documents, DNITs and full scope/details for each package are available to download via the Punjab e-Procurement portal.

Important financial & procedural notes:

• No physical submission of securities or documents will be accepted. All payments and securities must be processed online via the e-Procurement link (Bank on Portal).
• Contractor’s claims for successful bills shall be submitted electronically and processed through the Digital Measurement Book as per contract rules.
• The procuring agency reserves the right to accept or reject any bid or proposal as per PPRA rules.
