Early Market Engagement Webinar: Upgradation of Pakistan Railways ML-1 (Karachi–Rohri) — 8 Sep 2026

Organizers: Pakistan Railways in association with the Asian Development Bank (ADB).

Purpose: Early Market Engagement Stage‑2 for the Upgradation of Pakistan Railways Main Line‑1 (Karachi–Rohri Section). The webinar will present the project snapshot, indicative scope of works, procurement/contracting considerations and invite industry perspectives.

Key topics to be covered: project overview and timeline; indicative scope of works (civil and track works, major structures/bridges, signalling & telecommunications, electrification and related systems, station works and associated interfaces); procurement and contract packaging; implementation arrangements; and industry input on technical, commercial and implementation issues.
