Issuer: Government of Pakistan — presented by the Prime Minister; coordinated by NADRA in collaboration with the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) and Military Accountant General (MAG) under the administrations of the Ministry of Interior & Narcotics Control, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Defence.

Purpose: To provide pensioners with a free, digital Proof of Life Certificate via the NADRA Pak ID mobile app so pensioners no longer need to visit banks or embassies, ensuring uninterrupted pension payments.

Service	Free issuance of Proof of Life Certificate through Pak ID mobile app
Who is eligible	Pensioners under the Controller General of Accounts and Military Accountant General, including pensioners in Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu & Kashmir, and armed forces pensioners under MAG. Pensioners residing abroad may also use the app instead of visiting an embassy.
How to apply / Key steps	Download and install the Pak ID mobile app (QR codes available in app stores). Create an account in the Pak ID app, log in and navigate to the 'Proof of Life' section. If a pensioner cannot operate the app, a family member (spouse, son, daughter, parents, sister or brother) may complete the process on their behalf. Complete photo and/or fingerprint verification within the app. Once verified, the Proof of Life Certificate will be automatically transmitted to the concerned Pension Controller to maintain pension payments.

Notes	Intended to ensure uninterrupted provision of pension payments and to eliminate the need to visit banks or embassies for pension verification.
