Inspectorate General of Prisons, Balochistan (Samungli Road, Quetta) invites sealed bids for re-auction of Canteen / Canteen‑cum‑Multi‑Purpose Utility Shops at prisons across Balochistan for the financial year 2026‑27. Interested bidders must submit complete bids with required fees, bid security and supporting documents as listed below.

How to apply / submit bids: Bids must be submitted in the name of Deputy Inspector General of Prisons (HQ), Inspectorate General of Prisons, Quetta. Original receipt of auction fee and the bid security (call deposit / bank draft in the name of Inspector General of Prisons, Balochistan, Quetta) must be attached with the bid. The bid security will be refunded to unsuccessful bidders after finalization; successful bidders must execute the contract as required by the Inspectorate.
Eligibility & required documents:
- Valid CNIC of the bidder(s).
- Valid character certificate issued by the concerned District Police Officer (DPO) / Office / Home Department.
- Medical fitness certificate(s) of staff proposed to be deployed at the canteen(s).
- Valid copies of active taxpayer status: Income Tax and Sales Tax certificates.
- Bank certificate / financial statement showing minimum financial turnover (at least PKR 2 million) in the specified prior period.
- Experience: proof of previous experience of similar nature (work orders/contract records) for prior years as specified in the notice.
Other important terms: Failure to furnish any required documents may render a bidder ineligible. Original documents as specified must be presented as instructed. Detailed terms and conditions, evaluation criteria and refund procedures are provided by the Inspectorate when issuing bidding documents.
Document issuance & schedule: Auction documents are available from the date of publication of this notice up to 2026-08-31 during office hours on working days.
Last date for bid submission: 2026-09-01 by 11:00 AM. Bids will be opened at 12:00 PM on 2026-09-01 at the office of the Inspectorate General of Prisons, Samungli Road, Quetta.
