Organizer: Bureau of Translation & Interpretation, National University of Modern Languages (NUML), Islamabad. The Bureau invites entries for the 1st NUML Translation Awards 2026 (Jashn-e-Tarjuma) to recognize contributions in translation and encourage both seasoned and emerging translators.

  • Two copies of published translated work(s) with a copy of the source text
  • 300-word description of the work, including publication details
  • Works published between July 2023 and June 2026 will be considered
  • Works may be translated to or from Urdu & English
 Certificate of Excellence, Commemorative Shield, PKR 25,000
Best Published Translation Award Age: Above 30 years
  • Professional CV and copy of CNIC
  • Passport-size photograph
  • Two copies of published translated work(s) with a copy of the source text
  • 300-word description of the work, including publication details
  • Works published between July 2023 and June 2026 will be considered
  • Works may be translated to or from Urdu & English
 Certificate of Excellence, Commemorative Shield, PKR 20,000

Categories include: Poetry, Fiction, Non-Fiction, War Literature, and Children's Literature. Competition will be held among at least five entries per category. The jury's decision will be final.
