Issuer: Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of Pakistan, in collaboration with NADRA and the Controller General of Accounts (CGA) and Military Accounts General.
Purpose: To facilitate pensioners by enabling issuance of a Proof of Life certificate via the NADRA Pak‑ID mobile application so that pensioners no longer need to visit banks in person for life verification.
Who should use it: Pensioners of federal ministries including Defence, Finance, Interior (and associated accounts offices) who require periodic Proof of Life for pension disbursement.
How to apply: Download the Pak‑ID mobile app (QR codes shown on the notice) and follow the in‑app procedure to obtain an official Proof of Life/Proof of Life certificate issued by NADRA. This digital certificate is intended for acceptance by pension disbursing authorities (CGA/MAG).
Benefits: Eliminates the need for in‑person bank visits for life verification; provides an officially issued digital Proof of Life through NADRA's Pak‑ID service.
