Award Category Key Eligibility
Best Researcher
  • Applicant must be a resident of Pakistan for at least three years on 2026-01-01.
  • Publication must be of high impact and meet HEC criteria.
Best Young Researcher
  • Applicant must be under 40 years of age on 2026-01-01 and a resident of Pakistan for at least one year on 2026-01-01.
Best Publication
  • Publication must be a scholarly book or journal article published on or before 2026-01-01.
  • Must be authored/written by no more than three authors.
  • All authors must be resident of Pakistan for at least three years on 2026-01-01.
  • Research article must be published in an HEC-recognized W-category journal and have a minimum citation count as required by HEC.
  • Books must be published by a recognized/renowned academic press.

General eligibility highlights:

  • Applicants must never have been blacklisted by HEC.
  • The applicant/publication must not have received the same award previously.
  • None of the publications on Applicant/Author's credit should be plagiarized as per HEC plagiarism policy.
