Pakistan Railways Lahore — Contract Vacancies for Retired Supervisory Staff (Carriage & Wagon & Loco Departments)

Pakistan Railways, Headquarters Office Lahore invites applications from retired supervisory staff for contract engagement (one year, extendable) in the Carriage & Wagon and Mechanical/Loco Departments. Maximum age limit: 62 years. Selected retired employees will be required to pass a medical fitness examination by Pakistan Railways. No TA/DA will be paid. Appointments are contractual and will not entitle appointees to gratuity or pension distribution.

Key Terms: Only retired employees who have worked in the relevant categories are eligible. Contract period one year (extendable). Retired employees removed/retired on medical grounds are not eligible. Selected retirees will draw salary according to their last pay scale (e.g., BS-06, BS-09, BS-11, BS-12 & BS-14) with usual allowances; no gratuity/pension distribution will be provided. Pakistan Railways reserves the right to accept/reject any application and to change the number of posts.

Application fee: Postal orders totalling Rs. 500/- (required with application).

Documents required (attested copies): educational certificates, computerized National Identity Card, Railway verified identity/experience certificate, photocopy of PPO, photocopy of LPC, service certificate, three fresh passport-size photographs, and three postal envelopes with complete address and contact number.
