Centre of Excellence in Marine Biology (CEMB), University of Karachi invites applications for MPhil and PhD degree programmes in Marine Biology for the 2026-2027 session.

Application procedure & requirements:
Download application forms from the CEMB website or obtain from the Office of the Director, Centre of Excellence in Marine Biology, University of Karachi. Submit a completed application form with attested photocopies of CNIC, certificates, degrees, transcripts, domicile and a non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 8,000 (pay order) in favour of the Director, CEMB. Originals may be required at interview.
Candidates awaiting final BS/MSc results may apply but must produce results within two semesters; such cases must be attested by the Head of Department. In-service candidates must apply through the proper channel with an official NOC. Limited scholarships are available on merit.
Application submission: Complete applications must reach the undersigned by 2026-10-26 at 04:30 PM. A soft copy of the complete application in MS Word format should also be submitted as instructed by the department. Incomplete or late applications will not be entertained.
Selection: Admissions will be granted on the basis of academic record, performance in the entrance test and interview.
