Faculty & Senior Registrar Vacancies at Sheikh Zayed Medical College/Hospital, Rahim Yar Khan (BPS-18)

Sheikh Zayed Medical College/Hospital, Rahim Yar Khan invites applications for appointment against contract posts (BPS-17 and above) for teaching and senior registrar positions under Recruitment Policy-2022 and existing service rules. Applications must be submitted on the prescribed application form within 15 working days of publication.

The following posts are advertised:

Eligibility: MBBS or equivalent recognized medical qualification from a Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC)‑recognized institute. Postgraduate qualifications acceptable include FCPS, MS, FRCS, MRCP, MD or Diplomate of the American Board in the respective specialty, or equivalent qualifications recognized by the PMC. Where the specified postgraduate qualification is not available, MBBS with three years' post‑graduate practical experience in the respective specialty from a recognized institute may be considered. Foreign qualifications must be recognized by PMC/QEDC. Valid PM&DC/PMC registration and faculty/eligibility certificates are required.

Age: Male candidates 25–45 years plus 5 years general age relaxation (up to 50 years). Female candidates 25–45 years plus 8 years general age relaxation (up to 53 years).

Application procedure and requirements: Candidates should apply on the prescribed application performa available on the institution website and submit it by registered post/courier or by hand during office hours. Two sets of attested photocopies of all required documents must be attached. Required documents include matriculation certificate (date of birth), intermediate/‘A’ level certificate, MBBS degree and detailed marks sheets, domicile of Punjab, CNIC, two passport-size photographs, PM&DC/PMC registration certificate, eligibility/faculty registration certificate issued by PM&DC/PMC, experience certificates, and any other certificates (Hafiz-e-Quran, ex‑serviceman, disability certificate) if applicable.

Other instructions: Government servants must apply through proper channel and attach a Departmental Permission Certificate (NOC) stamped/signed by the competent authority. Call letters for interview will be issued; no TA/DA will be admissible. Shortlisting will be on merit as per service rules and Recruitment Policy‑2022. Women, males and transgender candidates domiciled in any district of Punjab may apply.
