KMU Admission Notice 2026-27 — Private Sector MBBS/BDS Seats (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa)

Issuer: Khyber Medical University (KMU), Peshawar. Purpose: Centralized admission for MBBS and BDS session 2026-27 for private sector medical and dental colleges in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Key details: KMU invites online applications for admission to MBBS/BDS in private sector Medical & Dental colleges of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Applicants must apply online only via the KMU admissions portal: https://caspr.kmu.edu.pk. KMU will retain the initially payable admission/tuition fee (minimum Rs. 600,000 for private sector seats) until students either obtain admission in a private college or request withdrawal, after which the deposited fee may be transferred to the concerned college or the student.

Medical and Dental Colleges (Private sector eligible for admission):

Eligibility:

• Minimum 60% marks in Higher Secondary School Certificate (FSc Pre-Medical) or equivalent qualification (12th grade) from any BISE in Pakistan or abroad.
• Must have passed the Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT-2024, MDCAT-2025, or MDCAT-2026) with at least 55% for MBBS and 50% for BDS.
• Candidates with domicile of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Merged Districts are eligible as per rules.
• Applicants for Foreign quota seats must meet eligibility criteria set out in PM&DC undergraduate education regulations and related PM&DC/PM&DC Notifications.

Merit calculation: Aggregate percentage weightage: Secondary School Certificate (SSC) ~10%, Intermediate/Pre-Medical (HSSC) ~40%, Medical & Dental Colleges Admission Test (MDCAT) ~50%.

How to apply: KMU has adopted a paperless application process. Candidates must apply online at https://caspr.kmu.edu.pk and follow instructions on the KMU admissions website. Hard copies or postal/courier applications are not accepted. Keep original fee slip to produce during admission.

Important instructions: Applicants must list preferred colleges in order of priority. Incomplete or deficient forms will not be entertained. Admission will be confirmed only after submission of original documents and payment of prescribed fees within the specified timeline. Submission of forged documents will result in cancellation and debarment.
