Positions and core qualifications:

| Faculty (General Medicine; Thoracic Surgery; Cardiac Anesthesia; ENT; General Medicine on locum basis) | MBBS or equivalent medical qualification recognized/registered by PM&DC. PM&DC-recognized qualification in the respective specialty or equivalent qualification approved by the Standing Recognition Committee (SRC) and registered with PM&DC. Candidates must meet PM&DC and MTI criteria for faculty selection. On selection, appointment at appropriate faculty level (Assistant, Associate or Professor) with grade/scale as per IPS MTI-HMC & affiliate institutes. |
| Associate Professor — Optometry (PICO) | PhD in Optometry or equivalent with minimum 3 years teaching & research experience as Assistant Professor; OR MS/MPhil in Optometry or equivalent with 8 years teaching & research experience. Minimum 5 research publications in HEC-recognized journals. Allied Health Professionals Council (AHPC) registration is mandatory. Preference to candidates with PhD. |
Application process and important instructions:
Submit the prescribed application form completed in all respects, with bio-data and attested academic/experience records to the Human Resource Department, Khyber Girls Medical College, PDA Building Block IV, Phase-V, Hayatabad, Peshawar within two (02) weeks of the publication of this advertisement. Application forms are available on the KGMC website (www.kgmc.edu.pk). A non-refundable processing fee of Rs. 3,000 should be deposited in Account No. 3005624387 at Bank of Khyber (BOK) and the deposit slip attached with the application (cash submission to KGMC cashier also permitted as per instructions). Government employees must apply through proper channel and supply NOC from their department. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; incomplete applications will not be entertained. No TA/DA is admissible. Selected candidates will be offered grade/scale as per institutional pay scale (IPS) of MTI-HMC and affiliate institutes.
