Daanish University invites applications for the position of Director Finance to lead the university’s finance function in Islamabad. The role requires a senior finance professional to build and maintain robust financial management, reporting, compliance and procurement systems, and to lead budgeting, treasury and endowment management.

Essential Qualifications	Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, or CPA) OR Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration (Finance) or a related field. Degrees must be from an HEC-recognized institution.
Preferred/Additional	Professional accountancy qualification; familiarity with public financial management, procurement, and IT/systems is an asset.
Experience	Minimum 12 years post-qualification experience in finance and accounting; preferably 5+ years as CFO, Director Finance, or Head of Finance. Proven record establishing financial systems and controls for new or growing organisations, including ERP implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Odoo). Strong command of IFRS/IPSAS, taxation, audit, and PPRA rules. Experience in higher education, trusts, not-for-profits, or public sector highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities	Design and implement financial management systems: chart of accounts, policies, SOPs, and internal controls. Lead finance and procurement modules of the University ERP and build a digital-first finance function. Lead budgeting, planning, treasury, and endowment management; ensure timely reporting, compliance, audit, and risk management. Oversee procurement and build a high-performing finance team.
