Punjab Highways Dept Tender: Rehabilitation of Kalri to Bhowna Chowk (Lalian, Chiniot)

Issuer: Executive Engineer, Highway Division Chiniot. The Punjab Highways Department invites e-tenders from eligible Engineering Firms/Contractors under PPRA e-Tendering system for the following road rehabilitation scheme in Lalian, District Chiniot.

Key requirements and conditions:

- Contractors must be registered with Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the relevant category and hold a valid renewed PEC license for the Financial Year 2026-27.

- Contractors/firms must be registered on the Punjab PPRA e-procurement website (www.ep.punjab.gov.pk). Registration/procedure details are available on ep.punjab.gov.pk/e-procurement.

- Bid Security (5% of estimated cost) must be deposited digitally online through the Punjab e-Procurement System (link with BOP) in favor of Executive Engineer, Highway Division Chiniot. Physical bid securities (CDR, Pay Order, Demand Draft, etc.) will not be accepted.

- As per Clause-56 of PPRA Rules, Performance Security/Guarantee of 10% of the Contract Amount must be furnished within 15 days of receipt of the offer letter through Digital Online payment via the Punjab e-Procurement system. No physical performance guarantees will be accepted.

- Bidders must quote item rates against each item and total amounts. Rates quoted above or below estimated/DNI cost will be evaluated per the tender rules; non-responsive bids may be rejected.

- After uploading, contractors may attend the O/o Commissioner (Faisalabad Division) on 24-10-2026 at 1200 Hours where downloaded bids and quoted rates of successful bidders will be announced in the presence of the Tender Opening Committee.

- Only bids duly signed by the Executive Engineer, Highway Division Chiniot will be acceptable; failure to comply may lead to cancellation.
