Public Notice under Section 9 — Land Acquisition for M-6 Hyderabad‑Sukkur Motorway Interchange (Rest Area) — Taluka Daur, Shaheed Benazirabad

The Government has acquired land for the construction of the Rest Area and Interchange (M-6) of the Hyderabad‑Sukkur Motorway Project. A notification under Section 4 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 was issued on 2026-08-31 (Notification No. DCSBA/RB/590 dated 31-08-2026) and publications appeared in the Sindh Government Gazette and the office of the Commissioner, Shaheed Benazirabad Division. Under Section 9 of the Land Acquisition Act, 1894, owners and persons in possession of the listed land are required to appear before the Land Acquisition Officer or submit their claims in writing with supporting documents and proof within the period stated in the notice to present their claims for compensation. If an objection is raised regarding the land or its compensation, claims must be submitted in writing under Section 9-02 of the Act. Persons holding lands or any interest for three years must also submit claims in writing for deposit under Section 10; otherwise the land will be declared and an award passed under Section 11 of the Act.
