The Managing Director, Private Power & Infrastructure Board (PPIB), Ministry of Energy (Power Division), Government of Pakistan invites stakeholders to a consultative workshop on the digitization of the power distribution sector through Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) deployment.
Held in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and other relevant stakeholders, the workshop will discuss the draft "Framework and Guidelines for Deployment of Advanced Metering Infrastructure through Public‑Private Partnerships, 2026" and cover policy, technical, commercial, procurement and implementation aspects for utilities, investors, vendors and service providers.
Interested parties may register to participate by submitting company profiles and contact details to PPIB. The online consultative session is scheduled for Tuesday, 2026-10-20 at 14:30 hours.
