KP-RETP Invitation: Matchmaking Events for Trout Production & Peach Processing — Mingora, Swat (19 Oct 2026)

Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa — Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Rural Economic Transformation Project (KP‑RETP) invites private companies, firms, enterprises, promoters, investors, relevant public sector line departments and farmers' cooperatives to participate in matchmaking events to promote investment and partnerships in Trout Fish Production & Marketing and Peach Pulping, Processing & Marketing under the Public‑Private‑Producers Partnership (4P) model. The project is financed by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and the European Union (EU).

Key objectives include strengthening trout fish and peach value chains as emerging enterprises; improving productivity, innovation and quality standards; promoting value addition through branding, packaging, certification and product diversification; establishing strong market linkages between producer groups and private sector firms; and enhancing income generation and rural enterprise development.
