FBR Invitation for Applications — Customs Clearing Agents Licence

Issuer: Federal Board of Revenue (Revenue Division), Government of Pakistan. Purpose: Invitation for applications for grant of Customs Clearing Agents Licence under Rule 91 of the Customs Rules, 2001 (SRO 450(I)/2001).

Eligibility requirements include: Citizen of Pakistan; at least 21 years of age; graduate from a recognized university; adequate computer knowledge to handle goods declarations (PRAL or CCS); not convicted by any court; and a sound financial record duly verified by a bank.

Application procedure: Submit the prescribed Form‑A to the concerned Licensing Authority (Collector of Customs) or to the offices listed in Form‑A. A non‑refundable application fee of Rs.1,000 (Rupees One Thousand) must be deposited as a Pay Order along with the application. Application form, account details, syllabus and related documents are available from the Federal Board of Revenue website.

Qualification test: All eligible applicants, including fresh candidates and existing provisional licence holders, must appear in a Qualification Test conducted through the Institute of Business Administration, Karachi. Examination centres include Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta.
