Hiring: School Teaching (STIs) — Government Special Education Institutions, Jhang & Toba Tek Singh

The District Education Officer (Special Education), Jhang / Toba Tek Singh invites applications for contract School Teaching positions (STIs) against vacant teaching posts in Government Special Education institutions of District Jhang and District Toba Tek Singh. A total of 15 vacancies are available (Jhang: 8; Toba Tek Singh: 7) for Senior and Junior Special Education Teachers in categories including Physically Disabled (PD), Visually Impaired (VI), Hearing Impaired (HI) and Mentally Challenged (MC).

Eligibility & Academic Qualifications:

- Senior Special Education Teacher (PD/VI/HI/MC), BPS-17: M.A or M.Ed or BS (first division/grade-B) in Special Education with specialization in the relevant field. For VI posts a Certificate of Proficiency in Braille issued by the Directorate General of Special Education Punjab is required.

- Junior Special Education Teacher (PD/VI/HI/MC), BPS-16: M.A or BS (second division/grade-C) in Special Education with specialization in the relevant field. For VI posts a Certificate of Proficiency in Braille issued by the Directorate General of Special Education Punjab is required.

Age limit: 21–28 years with upper age relaxation permissible as: Males +5 years, Females +8 years, Persons with Disabilities +15 years (on provision of valid disability certificate).

Terms, Honorarium & Duration:

- Engagement is purely temporary, school-specific and non-transferable for up to 9 months during Financial Year 2026–27 or until regular incumbents arrive.

- Monthly honorarium: BPS-17 = Rs. 45,000; BPS-16 = Rs. 40,000.

- Submit an application with attested copies of CV, CNIC, domicile, academic certificates/degrees, experience certificates (if any) and two passport-size photographs.

- Submit a separate application for each post and each institute.
