Public Hearing: EIA for 132 kV Grid Station and 15 km Transmission Line in DHA Rose Sector Phase‑VI, Rawalpindi (IESCO)

Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) announces a public hearing after the Punjab Environmental Protection Agency (EPA Punjab) admitted the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) application under Section 12 of the Punjab Environmental Protection Act, 1997.

Project: Construction of 132 kV Grid Station in DHA Rose Sector (Phase‑VI) and a 15 km transmission line within the bounds of DHA, District Rawalpindi. Estimated cost: PKR 2,700 million.

The EIA report and related documents submitted by the project proponent are available for review at the EPA Punjab e‑Library (https://epd.punjab.gov.pk/elibrary) and at the office of the Deputy Director (Environment), EPA Rawalpindi. Members of affected communities, stakeholders, experts and other interested persons may review the documents and submit written comments.

Comments may be submitted within seven days from the date of publication of this notice to:

Gate No. 10, National Hockey Stadium, Ferozepur Road, Lahore

All stakeholders and the general public are invited to attend the public hearing to share proposals, concerns and suggestions. Participants may also join online.

Written submissions received through the EPA e‑Library comment box or delivered to the Director EIA, EPA Punjab will be recorded as part of the official public hearing proceedings. The public hearing will be reflected in the final public hearing record.
