Heavy Mechanical Complex (HMC) is inviting applicants for a newly established R&D lab and collaboration center located in Islamabad. Interested candidates with relevant profiles are requested to submit applications by email.

Position (No. of posts)	Education	Experience	Key Responsibilities
Senior Manager Automation & Control (1x)	Minimum Bachelor's / Master's degree in relevant field; engineering background preferred	Minimum 9 years of relevant experience	Lead automation, instrumentation and control engineering activities for industrial plants and projects. Design, program and troubleshoot PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, FVDs and control systems. Manage instrumentation selection, installation, calibration, testing and commissioning. Coordinate with engineering teams, clients, contractors and vendors; ensure compliance with industry standards and drive system reliability and improvements.
Senior CAD Designer (1x)	DAE Mechanical or BSc Mechanical / equivalent from a recognized university	Minimum 8 years of relevant experience	Develop and review 2D manufacturing drawings and 3D CAD models for mechanical components, assemblies and equipment. Ensure designs meet GD&T, dimensional, material, tolerance and manufacturability standards. Maintain CAD data, BOMs, revisions and documentation; support manufacturing, assembly, testing and junior designers.
Process Engineer (1x)	Minimum Bachelor's / Master's degree in a relevant field; chemical engineering background preferred	Minimum 6 years of relevant experience	Lead plant process design and engineering including process development, optimization, equipment selection and sizing. Develop process simulations, PFDs, P&IDs, equipment datasheets and design specifications. Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ISO, NFPA and relevant safety and industry standards; coordinate with engineering teams, clients and vendors.
Mechanical Design Engineer (1x)	Minimum Bachelor's / Master's degree in relevant field; P.E.C.-registered engineer shall be preferred	Minimum 4 years of relevant experience	Perform mechanical designs and 3D CAD modelling for equipment, machinery, components and assemblies. Apply engineering standards, GD&T, tolerances, material selection and manufacturability requirements. Prepare and maintain BOMs, engineering drawings, specifications and revision-controlled documentation; coordinate with procurement and manufacturing teams.
Principal Mechanical Design Engineer (1x)	Minimum Bachelor's / Master's degree in relevant field; P.E.C.-registered mechanical engineer shall be preferred	Minimum 15 years of relevant experience	Lead mechanical design for heavy equipment and machinery; review and approve designs, calculations and specifications. Ensure compliance with ASME, API, ASTM, ISO and project standards; coordinate with engineering teams, clients, vendors and contractors. Oversee procurement, commissioning and ensure quality of deliverables.
