This public notice invokes provisions of the Punjab Local Government Act 2025 (including Sections 26, 14 and 19) and PPA 2020 to address unauthorized or illegal construction. Owners of properties with unapproved or illegally modified structures are directed to take remedial action.
Owners must either regularize or remove unauthorized construction and submit relevant documents or objections to the Municipal Corporation Rawalpindi within 15 days of the notice. The 15-day compliance period ends on 2026-10-25.
Failure to comply will result in legal action, including removal/demolition of unauthorized structures, recovery of costs and penalties under Section 165 of the Punjab Local Government Act 2025 and relevant provisions of PPA 2020.
