National Tariff Commission Initiates Anti‑Dumping Investigation on Certain Cotton Yarn from China

Issuer: National Tariff Commission (Government of Pakistan). Purpose: Initiation of an anti‑dumping investigation into alleged dumped imports of “Certain Cotton Yarn” of 48 count and above originating in and/or exported from the People’s Republic of China and allegedly injuring the domestic industry of Pakistan.

The Commission received an application under Section 20 of the Anti‑Dumping Duties Act, 2015, on 2026-09-30. The Commission has initiated an investigation to determine whether dumping has occurred and whether it has caused or is causing injury to the domestic industry.

Interested parties, as defined by the Act, are requested to identify and register themselves with the Secretary of the National Tariff Commission within 10 days of publication of this notice. Registered parties may submit views, comments, evidence and other information relevant to the investigation; some submissions may be treated as confidential if properly justified.

Investigation schedule noted by the Commission: preliminary determination will be made not earlier than 60 days and not later than 180 days from the date of initiation; final determination will be made within 180 days of publication of the preliminary determination.
