Submission requirements: Single stage (two envelopes) bidding is adopted. Suppliers must submit (i) Technical Offer and (ii) Commercial Offer separately. Quotations for foreign purchase items must be submitted on CFR Karachi basis; cost of items and freight should be stated separately in commercial quotation.
Tender documents can be downloaded from the Karachi Shipyard website (www.karachishipyard.com.pk) and PPRA website (www.ppra.org.pk). Suppliers/contractors are required to purchase bidding documents from the Procurement Department for PKR 2,000 each. Documents are available for purchase at the Procurement Department at least one day before tender due dates between 09:00 and 15:30 hrs. Bidders stationed outside Karachi may obtain tender documents via courier.
Opening: Tenders will be opened at 11:00 am on the respective tender due date in the presence of bidders' representatives who wish to attend. Karachi Shipyard reserves the right to accept or reject any tender.
