Issuer: GIZ Pakistan under the Multi‑Donor Action “EU Support to Better Governance and Business Environment in Pakistan”, co‑financed by the European Union and the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented as part of the TextILES II project.
Purpose: Expression of Interest (EOI) to engage a qualified consulting firm to develop techno‑financial feasibility studies and support resource‑efficiency improvements for export‑oriented SMEs under the SME Greening Accelerator Scheme. The selected firm will work with factory teams to identify inefficiencies (energy, water, raw materials, chemicals), propose practical resource‑efficiency measures, and strengthen internal technical capacity, monitoring systems and ownership of continuous improvement initiatives.
Target: GIZ aims to onboard 80 companies (with ~20% women‑led or benefiting women) across five sectors: Textile & Apparel, Leather, Medical & Surgical Instruments, Rice Processing and Sports Goods. All project/assignment experience should relate to Pakistan.
Key submission instructions: EOIs must be submitted in English in a sealed envelope clearly labelled “10054871_Expression of Interest (EOI) for: Developing Techno‑Financial Feasibility Studies for Resource Efficiency” to GIZ Pakistan, Serena Business Complex, Gate 06, Khayaban‑e‑Suharwardy, Sector G‑5/1, Islamabad. Only firms passing the EOI eligibility assessment will be invited to submit a detailed Request for Proposal (RFP). Submission of an EOI does not guarantee inclusion in the RFP process. GIZ Pakistan reserves the right to accept or reject any submission. GIZ encourages supplier diversity and participation of businesses owned/operated by persons with disabilities.
