Auction Notice: Unserviceable Public Assets — C&W B&R Division, Ghanche (Gilgit‑Baltistan)

Office of the Executive Engineer, Communication & Works Department, B&R Division, Ghanche invites sealed bids from the general public for auction of unserviceable, obsolete and surplus public assets belonging to the Communication & Works Department, Gilgit‑Baltistan. Eligibility & Bid Submission:

1. Any citizen of Pakistan holding a valid computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) is eligible to participate. Each bidder must attach a copy of their valid CNIC and an undertaking on stamped paper (Rs.10) with the bid and must produce the original CNIC on demand before delivery of assets.

2. Employees of C&W Department GB, members of the Disposal Committee and their relatives, and persons/firms blacklisted or debarred by any government department/agency are not eligible.

Terms & Conditions (summary):

- Assets will be sold on an "AS IS WHERE IS" basis; the Department is not responsible for defects, repair, transport, loading/unloading or other costs after sale.

- Interested bidders may inspect assets at the designated location during office hours from 2026-10-20 to 2026-11-06 on working days.

- Bids must be accompanied by earnest money in the form of CDR in favour of Executive Engineer B&R Division C&WD Ghanche from any scheduled bank of Pakistan and a copy of valid CNIC.

- Earnest money will be returned to unsuccessful bidders after the auction. If the successful bidder withdraws or fails to pay or lift the assets within the stipulated period, earnest money shall be forfeited.

- The successful bidder shall deposit 25% of the bid amount within 2 working days of the auction and the balance within 7 days of acceptance; assets will be released after full payment.

- The successful bidder shall remove purchased assets at their own cost and risk within the period specified by the Department after receipt of full payment and issuance of delivery/release order.

- Any grievance/complaint shall be dealt with by the Grievance Redressal Committee constituted under applicable rules.
