Ministry of Law and Justice invites applications for the post of Senior Legislative Advisor on a contract basis for an initial period of three years (extendable as per MP Scale Policy, 2020). | Senior Legislative Advisor | 01 | Package – MP‑I Scale | 62 years | Foreign or local LLM or Barrister‑at‑Law or Solicitor | At least 10 years' experience in legal and legislative matters in public or private sector; experience drafting/reviewing conventions, agreements, MOUs, contracts and other legal documents; preferably understanding of international law and ability to render legal opinions on policy and regulatory matters and experience in legislative drafting. | Candidates with public‑sector experience preferred, followed by state‑run corporations, entities and reputable private corporations. |
Applicants must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, professionalism, integrity, leadership and ability to work in a team. NOC from present employer (for government servants) is mandatory at time of appointment. At interview applicants must present originals and attested copies of CNIC, educational certificates, LLM transcripts, experience certificates, detailed CV and passport‑size photograph.
