Karachi Port Trust invites applications for General Manager (IT) BPS-20

Karachi Port Trust (KPT) invites applications for the position of General Manager (IT) on contract basis.

Qualification & Experience: Master’s degree in Information Technology / Computer Sciences or equivalent from a Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized institution with 15 years’ experience in information technology development/management including 5 years’ experience as Chief Information Executive of a reputed organization. Foreign qualified and foreign experience will be preferred.

Key terms and application instructions:

- The post is contract based for a period of 2 years (extendable). General age relaxation of 5 years is already clubbed; additional relaxations as per Government instructions will apply where relevant. Allowances admissible under KPT rules.

- Government servants should apply through proper channel and produce NOC at time of test/interview. Only shortlisted candidates will be called for tests/interview. No TA/DA will be paid for appearing in tests/interview. Canvassing will disqualify.

Download the form, complete it and send by courier with detailed bio-data/CV, attested photocopies of testimonials/documents supporting qualification and experience, date of birth, one recent passport-size photograph, one copy of CNIC and a pay order of Rs.100/- (non-refundable) in favour of Chief Accounts Officer.
