The National Database & Registration Authority (NADRA), Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control (Headquarters, G-5/2 Islamabad) invites applications for the position of Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) based in Islamabad.

Minimum QualificationMaster's in Information Security / Information Technology / Computer Science / Software Engineering or equivalent from HEC‑recognized institution (degrees must be attested by HEC). Preference given to Ph.D/Doctorate. Relevant IS audit certifications (CISA, CISM, etc.) preferred.
ExperienceMinimum 10 years in senior information security roles, with strong experience in security operations, regulatory requirements, security strategy, incident response, SOC management, cyber threat intelligence and IT forensic investigations.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
  • Plan and implement data security frameworks and technologies.
  • Governance, risk assessment and compliance management.
  • Develop and manage Security Operations Centre (SOC) and incident response mechanisms.
  • Operate Cyber Threat Intelligence platforms and link IS paradigms to organizational impact.
  • Conduct IS training, vulnerability assessments, pen‑testing oversight and stakeholder engagement.
  • Drive continuous quality improvement and evidence‑based policy modifications.
Terms & Conditions (selected)
  • Selected candidate will undergo a 6‑month probation (extendable subject to performance).
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview; government/semigovernment employees must provide NOC at interview.
  • Attested educational documents from HEC/regulatory body must be provided at joining; medical fitness and character certificates required.
  • No TA/DA; electronic gadgets not allowed during interview.
  • Females, minorities, transgender and differently‑abled candidates are encouraged to apply.
