GCU Faisalabad Auction Notice 01-2026 for Scrap and Unserviceable Items

Government College University Faisalabad invites sealed bids for the auction of unserviceable and irreparable items on an as-is, where-is basis under Auction Notice No. 01-2026. Participants must be active taxpayers registered with the Income Tax and GST departments.

Auction schedule: The auction will take place at the university's old campus on 17 November 2026 at 12:00 noon. Sealed proposals must reach the university by 11:30 AM on the same day. Items may be inspected on campus from Monday to Friday during office hours, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Bidding documents may be obtained from the Secretary Auction Committee (DP&IC) up to one day before the auction against a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1,000. Applicants must submit the application form with copies of their CNIC, NTN and GST certificates.

Bidders participating for one or more items must include Rs. 100,000 earnest money/bid security in the sealed envelope through a CDR, bank draft or bank guarantee in favour of the Treasurer, Government College University Faisalabad. Unsuccessful bidders will receive a refund of their earnest money.

Successful bidders must deposit 50% of the total bid amount on the auction day, excluding earnest money, and collect their items within the stipulated period. Failure to collect the items will result in cancellation of the offer and forfeiture of earnest money. Applicable withholding tax for filers and non-filers will be charged in addition to the bid price.

The successful bidder for used answer sheets must sell them directly to paper mills and submit an affidavit on stamp paper to the university; failure to comply will result in forfeiture of earnest money. GCUF employees, including their kin, are ineligible to participate.
