Chairman, Iqbal Chair — Bahria University (Islamabad)

Bahria University invites applications for the position of Chairman of the Iqbal Chair at its Head Office in Islamabad. Candidates must hold a Ph.D. in Urdu, Pakistan Studies, History, Iqbaliyat/Iqbal Studies or be a renowned poet/scholar on Iqbal, preferably with 10 years' teaching and research experience in an HEC-recognized university/organization and at least five research publications in HEC-recognized journals.

The appointee will be responsible for projecting Allama Iqbal's life, ideology and philosophy; excellent oral and written communication skills are required, and experience organizing seminars and workshops is preferred.
