Sindh Irrigation Department Thar Division Mirpurkhas Jobs 2026

The Government of Sindh, Irrigation Department, Thar Division Mirpurkhas, invites applications from candidates holding domicile of District Umerkot for recruitment against BPS-01 to BPS-04 vacancies budgeted for financial year 2026–27.

The recruitment follows the order dated 19 May 2026 of the Honourable High Court of Sindh, Circuit Court, Mirpurkhas, in C.P. Nos. D-324 of 2026, D-397 of 2026, D-446 of 2026 and D-447 of 2026, and the Cabinet decision dated 1 December 2025 communicated through Services, General Administration and Coordination Department letter No. SOV(SGA&CD)8-27/2019 (Pt-IV) (Volume), dated 3 December 2025.

The age range for every position is 18–28 years. All positions require District Umerkot domicile; the relevant taluka requirements and posting offices are detailed below.

Application procedure: Submit an application in the prescribed format to the Irrigation Department, Thar Division Mirpurkhas, within 10 days of publication of the advertisement. Attach two passport-size photographs and attested copies of academic qualification certificates, CNIC, domicile, PRC, driving licence and experience certificate, where required. Incomplete applications will not be entertained.

Quotas and age relaxation: Recruitment will follow the Government of Sindh's prescribed quotas, including 5% for differently abled persons, 15% for women, 5% for minorities and 0.5% for transgender persons. General relaxation of five years in the upper age limit is admissible under the applicable government rules and policy, communicated through Notification No. SOII(SGA&CD)5-64/2011 (Part-II), dated 6 March 2025.

Applicants already serving in government must apply through their respective departments through the proper channel. Canvassing in any form will disqualify a candidate. The number of vacancies may be increased or decreased at any stage, and candidates will have no right to challenge such changes.

Only eligible, shortlisted candidates will be called for a test or interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview. The vacancies are initially temporary and will become permanent after completion of the probation period under the Sindh Services (Appointment, Promotion and Transfer) Rules, 1973.
