Banking Court-IV Karachi Summons Raja Wahid Kamal in Bank Islami Recovery Suit No. 177 of 2026

Banking Court-IV, Karachi, before Judge Mr. Muhammad Ahsan Khan Durrani, has issued a summons to Raja Wahid Kamal in Suit No. 177 of 2026, filed by Bank Islami Pakistan Limited under Section 9(1) of the Financial Institutions (Recovery of Finances) Ordinance, 2001 (XLVI of 2001). The plaintiff seeks recovery of Rs. 810,639.26, along with cost of funds and costs of suit.

The defendant is summoned to obtain leave from the court within 30 days from the date of first service of the summons to defend the suit. In default, the allegations of fact in the plaint shall be deemed admitted, and the court may pass a decree in favour of the plaintiff on that basis.

Leave to appear may be obtained through an application in the form of a written statement containing a summary of substantial questions of law and the facts for which evidence needs to be recorded.

The summons is returnable on 20 November 2026 at 8:30 a.m. before Banking Court-IV, Block-48/A, Pakistan Secretariat, Saddar, Karachi.
