NEPRA Hearing Notice — Tariff Petition for 300 MW Balakot Hydropower Project (PEDO) — Hearing on 2026-07-02

Issuer: National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA). Purpose: Notice of admission and public hearing on the tariff petition filed by Pakhtunkhwa Energy Development Organization (PEDO) for the 300 MW Balakot Hydropower Project.

Interested, affected stakeholders and the general public are invited to attend the hearing and/or submit interventions or comments. The Authority has admitted the tariff petition for determination and will hold a hearing as detailed below.

Participation and submissions:

• Any interested/affected person may participate in the proceedings of the tariff setting process in accordance with NEPRA (Tariff Standards & Procedure) Rules, 1998.
• Persons wishing to participate must file an intervention request within seven (7) days of the date of publication of this notice, stating grounds with supporting evidence and any relief sought.
• Interveners must file a written statement of interest, evidence, and, where required, an affidavit to support the intervention; a copy should be served on the petitioner or its authorized representative.
• The Authority may permit submission of comments; any person may also file comments within seven (7) days of publication, subject to the NEPRA procedure.
