MEPCO Career: Chief Supply Chain Management Officer (Multan, Contract)

Multan Electric Power Company Limited (MEPCO) invites applications for the senior position of Chief Supply Chain Management Officer at MEPCO Headquarters, Multan. This is a contractual C-level role responsible for leading procurement, supply chain strategy, inventory & logistics, vendor management and supply chain execution across MEPCO operations in Southern Punjab.

Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement MEPCO supply chain strategy aligned with organizational vision and Board/CEO direction; manage procurement team and procurement practices; lead procurement tasks for equipment, supplies and services necessary for MEPCO; oversee inventory control and logistics to ensure cost-effective distribution and equipment availability; ensure effective utilization of ERP/system for supply chain execution; coordinate with other departments to maximize efficiencies; update supply chain framework periodically and validate alignment with business requirements and external norms.

Qualification & Experience: Minimum 16 years education (Master's preferred) in Supply Chain or related field from an HEC-recognized institution. Professional certifications/courses in supply chain management from reputable national/international institutions will be an advantage. At least 10 years of relevant professional experience with a minimum of 2 years in a senior leadership role (e.g., Head of Department or equivalent) in a large-scale public sector, national, multinational or corporate organization. Experience should demonstrate leadership, operational and strategic supply chain expertise.

Age Limit: Upper age limit 62 years at the time of closing date. No relaxation will be granted under any circumstances.
