QAU Fall 2026 Admissions — Dedicated USAT for Undergraduate Applicants

Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad in coordination with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) invites Pakistani and foreign nationals to apply for admissions to BS / M.Phil / Ph.D programmes for Fall Semester 2026 via a dedicated Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) for QAU applicants. This USAT is for candidates who have applied or intend to apply to QAU but could not register in the current/ongoing HEC USAT slots.

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed/completed HSSC exams or passed HSSC Part-I exams, A-Level or equivalent.

How to apply / Key instructions: Register online through HEC ETC portal: https://etc.hec.gov.pk/#/webpage. For help with online registration visit https://onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk/. Select the test category that best matches your intended subject (selection cannot be changed later). Use your own CNIC or B.Form number to register; mismatches in CNIC/details will bar entry to the test. Check personal details (name, CNIC, mobile) before submission.

Pay the test fee using the 1Link/1Bill invoice consumer number through online banking apps; after payment, click “Verify Payment” on your ETC profile and submit the application. Test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. Test cities and centers must be chosen from available list and cannot be changed after registration; ETC may reassign centers if fewer than 250 applicants register for a center. Roll no slips will be downloadable from the ETC portal about one week before the test. On test day bring printed Roll No. Slip and original CNIC; candidates under 18 without CNIC must bring B.Form and original SSC/HSSC certificate with photo ID.

Electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, recording devices, earphones, imaging devices) are not allowed in test centres. Taking, uploading or sharing images of the question book is strictly prohibited and punishable under ETC rules.
