Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad invites Pakistani and foreign nationals to apply for admissions to undergraduate and graduate programmes (BS / MPhil / PhD) for Fall 2026 through a dedicated Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) for candidates who applied or intend to apply to QAU but could not register in current/ongoing USAT slots.

How to Apply
Register online at the HEC testing portal: https://etc.hec.gov.pk/#/webpage. For registration help visit https://onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk/. Pay the test fee using the generated 1link/1Bill invoice (payment via online banking apps). After payment, click “Verify Payment” on your ETC profile and submit the application. Roll number slips will be downloadable from your ETC profile about one week before the test.
Important Instructions
- Use your own CNIC or B-Form number for registration; mismatches between CNIC and application data will bar entry to the test.
- Select the test category carefully; it cannot be changed later.
- Test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Test centres are in major cities. Selected test city will not be changed after registration; ETC may reassign if minimum applicants threshold is not met.
- On test day bring printed Roll No. Slip and original CNIC. Candidates under 18 without CNIC must bring B-Form and original SSC/HSSC certificate with photo ID.
- Electronic devices (mobile phones, calculators, recording devices, earphones, cameras) and photographing/sharing question papers are strictly prohibited.
