Eligibility (summary)
Undergraduate: Applicants with O/A Levels, Intermediate (F.Sc/F.A/Grade 12) or equivalent; A-Level students must provide equivalence certificate. Exact subject and grade requirements apply.
Graduate (M.Des / M.Sc / M.Phil): Minimum sixteen years (4 years) of relevant education after HSSC/Grade 12 (minimum ~120 credit hours) or equivalent is required. Applicants with valid GRE/HAT/General/Equivalent test scores (passing score ~50%) are acceptable.
PhD: 18 years of education in design or relevant field with minimum 3.00 CGPA (out of 4.0) in semester system or 60% / 1st division in annual system; or a master’s in design with minimum CGPA 2.5 (out of 4.0) or 1st division in annual system. See PIFD website for full PhD eligibility details.
