QAU Fall 2026 — Dedicated USAT for QAU Applicants (Registration 2026-06-22 to 2026-07-06)

Issuer: Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU), Islamabad, in coordination with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan. Purpose: A dedicated Undergraduate Studies Admission Test (USAT) exclusively for candidates who have applied or intend to apply for admission to QAU undergraduate programmes for Fall 2026 but could not register in current/ongoing USAT slots.

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed/completed HSSC exams or passed HSSC part-1 exams, A-Level, or equivalent. This dedicated USAT is available as a first chance for those who did NOT register earlier with HEC and as a possible second attempt for those already registered who choose to re-attempt. Only candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes at QAU are eligible.

How to apply (key instructions): Candidates must select the test category that best matches their intended subject; once selected it cannot be changed. Register online at the ETC portal (https://etc.hec.gov.pk/#/webpage). For online registration help visit https://onlinehelp.hec.gov.pk/. Use your own CNIC or B-Form number for registration; discrepancies in CNIC will bar entry to the test. Pay the test fee via 1Link/1Bill using the generated invoice/consumer number, then click “Verify Payment” on your ETC profile and submit the application. The test fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

Test centres and roll slips: Tests will be conducted in major cities; select your test city carefully — city selection cannot be changed after registration. ETC may reassign candidates if a selected centre does not meet minimum enrolment (250 applicants). Roll number slips will be downloadable from your ETC profile one week before the test. Bring original CNIC for verification on test day; candidates under 18 without CNIC must bring B-Form and original SSC/HSSC certificate with photo ID.

Prohibited items and conduct: Electronic gadgets (mobile phones, calculators, recording devices, earphones, imaging devices) are not allowed inside the test centre. Taking, uploading, or sharing images of the question booklet is strictly prohibited and punishable under ETC rules.
