AIOU Recruitment 2026 – Professors & Associate Professors (BPS-20/21) at Allama Iqbal Open University

Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) invites applications for faculty positions on regular/contract basis. Eligible candidates should apply online through the AIOU Job Portal and follow the prescribed procedure for submission of hard copies and supporting documents.

Key application details and requirements

- Eligibility and shortlisting will follow HEC criteria and AIOU Recruitment & Promotion Rules/Assessment Framework. Candidates must meet the prescribed academic and experience requirements for the advertised posts.

- Applicants must apply online via the AIOU Job Portal. After online submission, submission of the dossier in hard form is mandatory; both hard and soft copies must be provided as instructed.

- Candidates currently serving in Government/Semi-Government/Autonomous Bodies on regular/contract/acting/ad-hoc basis must apply through proper channel and submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) where applicable.

- Applicants for Professor and Associate Professor posts should submit the prescribed application form and supporting documents in PDF, plus attested copies of academic testimonials and a detailed CV. Research publications/supporting evidence (Ph.D., MPhil, projects, supervised students, etc.) should be included as required by the post.

- Processing / application fee: Rs. 5,000 for BPS-20 & BPS-21 (payable via downloaded challan from the AIOU Job Portal). No TA/DA is admissible.

- Incomplete applications or failure to submit required documents may render the application inadmissible. False information may lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage.
