KOEN Pakistan AJ&K invites applications for the following position at Gulpur Hydropower Plant, Barali, Kotli, Azad Jammu & Kashmir (Pakistan).

| Shift Control Engineer | 01 | BS Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics) | Main duties include supervising, monitoring and operating the plant via SCADA under supervision of the Shift Charge Engineer; assisting Shift Charge Engineer with liaison to grid stations and ISMO/RCC/NGC; preparing daily operational logs, tripping/declaration reports and other required reports; fault/tripping reporting and preparation of IR/DR; ensuring plant operation within technical limits and responding to emergency situations; assisting in restoration of supply after station blackout or system collapse. Eligibility: Minimum 3 years' experience in power plant operations; strong knowledge of plant systems including generators, turbines, GIS, power transformers, EDGs and associated auxiliaries; experience with SCADA, DCS/RADAC/PTW and record/data declaration; awareness of safety protocols and SOPs (LOTO procedures). |
